People at Centennial United Church enjoy services that have a traditional
feel in a relaxed and welcoming community. We come in expectation that we will encounter the Divine in the words and the music. We praise God for all God's blessings, we hear the word of the bible spoken and learn through the teaching.
Our choir provides spiritual energy through its music, inspiring the listeners. Throughout Covid they have continued to record anthems for special services and even tried their hand at virtual choir anthems! They are thrilled to be able to return to the choir loft where they can provide leadership for congregational hymns.
Children are welcome and appreciated at our services. Most Sundays we offer Sunday School during worship. Children are invited to begin worship with their families and then will be able to accompany their teachers to Sunday School following a "Time of Wondering". On special Sundays we offer all-ages worship opportunities that are EPIC!
We worship in person on Sunday mornings at 10:30am with the exception of July and August when we offer alternative forms of worship that may look like visiting on the church lawn, forest church, or a farm visit. We also live-stream our worship for those needing to join us virtually. Following worship, we gather for a time of food and fellowship in our CE Hall. We live by the motto "sharing is caring" except when it comes to colds, flu and COVID! Please help us protect the most vulnerable members of our congregation by worshipping with us from home if you are sick.
